Who we are:
We are teachers, climate activists and students who demand that the NYS Teachers Retirement System (NYSTRS) stop funding climate destruction and divest from fossil fuels. We are a committee of Divest NY, who led the successful campaigns to divest The New York State Common Retirement Fund and New York City's pensions funds.
Comptroller DiNapoli announces that the NYS Common Retirement Fund will divest!
